Windsor Phillips

Windsor Phillips grew up in America where she studied at the Academy of Dance Arts in South Carolina from age 3-18. At age 17 Windsor was invited to join her first professional dance company Unbound.

Windsor then moved to New York City to train at Broadway Dance Center in their Professional Semester. Windsor played Graziella in the musical West Side Story, danced in the Chris Benz Fashion Show, Rocky Horror Picture Show and was featured at the Heineken International UEFA Champions League Final. Windsor danced for musical artists such as Ne-Yo, Lady Sovereign, and Icona Pop. Windsor was also cast in various TV and Film work such as Law & Order SVU (NBC), Blue Bloods (CBS), Smash (NBC), and Season 4 of Boardwalk Empire (HBO). Windsor decided to expand her career to Los Angeles where she worked daily as a mentee to Beyonce’s choreographer Dana Foglia and performed in numerous shows and events.

During her dance career Windsor continued to choreograph and teach around the United States which is where she started to develop her unique passion for choreographing. After Los Angeles, Windsor had an opportunity to come to Scotland to teach and choreograph. In Scotland Windsor also wanted to expand her creative excellence in Art and Design and attended the Glasgow School of Art where she received a BA Hons and Masters of Design with distinction. Over the span of her Choreographic career Windsor’s pieces and productions have won numerous competitions nationally, internationally, and various distinct awards. Windsor has a unique approach to teaching and choreographing that is truly individual and expressive to the art.
