Carrie was a scholarship student at Preston Dance College after being a pupil at the Morag Alexander School of Dancing from age 2 to 17. She gained performance qualifications in advanced 2 RAD ballet and ISTD modern and gained her teaching qualifications in ballet, modern and national with the Imperial Society of Teacher of Dancing (ISTD). During her time in Preston she was cast as a backing dancer for numerous events including Gay Pride, Children In Need and half time performances at Preston North End football club.

After three years of training she took her dancing to sea working for Costa and MSC cruises over a 6 year period. Carrie took on dance captain, production manager and choreography roles during her time onboard. On what would be her last professional contract before teaching full time, she enjoyed a 1-year contract with The Experience Department, at TUI Sensatori Ibiza in 2018.

Carrie has now taken her experience from training and performance into the studio to share with students her ambition and dedication to the art.

“Passing on my love and passion for dance to the next generation brings me so much joy. I love seeing our dancers strive for success. Teaching students with such a drive gives so much creative inspiration, and makes it so much more than a job.”
